Eric Weise: bass

I started my music career playing the organ when I was just a lad. From there I branched out to bass guitar. In high school I was in a number of hair metal bands playing covers of Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and other such bands. In college, I joined a trio called "The Urge." We were one of the premier frat party bands at Chico State, playing for hundreds of drunken college kids. After college, I moved to San Francisco and auditioned for a few bands but nothing really clicked. I finally met up with Bill Donte through Craigslist, who was putting together a Talking Heads tribute band. This became the genesis of the current Slippery People. I think this band is unique in that everyone's ideas can be heard. This gives us a diverse style and sound that sets us apart from other groups.
