Wednesday, June 21st, 10:00p at Studio Z
It was a sweltering night in the City, and we're not talking about the hot music! The Slippery People rocked the house. Special thanks to stage mates Stella Royale and the Fair Saints for their rockin sets.

Saturday, April 22nd at 10:30 PM at 12 Galaxies
Next round, here we come! Emergenza just can't get enough of us. Blindsided by Slippery People's brilliant set on April 22nd, the good(?) folks at Emergenza have invited us back for the semiifinals, again to be held at the 12 Galaxies. We will be in the Saturday June 10th lineup, but don't look for any announcements from the band: we don't want to give Emergen$a any more hard earned dough. (Ask Phil for details!) Come see us June 21st instead, when we'll dazzle you with a full set!

Friday, March 24, 2006: Slippery People headlining at the Rockit Room
406 Clement, with the band Fred (www.thebandfred.com). Oh, what a night! Dave strutting his stuff...Alex stomping to the groove...a good time had by all. And hey, we have the video to prove it! Incriminating photos coming soon.

Wednesday, February 15, 2006, 9:30 pm: Emergencza Festival at The Red Devil Lounge
Established in 1990, the Emergenza Festival is a music competition for local bands, taking place in 150 cities across Europe and America. There's over 200 bands competing in San Francisco alone. Audience members vote to see who Support our bid to make it to the next round! Come to The Red Devil Lounge and vote for us! To learn more about Emergenza, visit their website at www.emergenza.net.

Friday, November 4, 2005: CD Release party at Tongue & Groove
It was a roaring success! We partied to a packed house. We played until our fingers bled and were glad to do it. Many love connections were made that night thanks to our dulcet tones, and one of the patrons is going to name their first born "Slippery People Brownstone" (Mike for short). CDs flew off the shelves causing a mini-stampede which could only be quelled by Alex and Dave singing "I Got You, Babe" unplugged. Ho, Ho, ho the humanity.
